Major partnerships with companies are imperative for the School to carry out its missions. In a time when our collective priorities are being reshaped by artificial intelligence, the digital transition, health, environmental challenges and the need for sov- ereignty, the Chairs continue to pursue their ambition: to support excellence in research and edu- cation and strengthen strategic partnerships. In 2025, the Chairs’ activity was aligned with major challenges that are redefining societal priorities. In fields as diverse as artificial intelligence, health and the en- vironmental transition, they sup- ported pioneering projects for research, students and the world beyond our walls. At VivaTech, the Paris-Saclay Summit and the AI Action Sum- mit, the Chairs’ teams and part- ners contributed to the debates shaping the AI of the future. Two strategic Chairs were re- newed, in biomedicine and dig- ital innovation, demonstrat- ing that these partnerships are built to last and rest on solid scientific foundations. International reach has also been bolstered. In Côte d’Ivoire, the master’s program supported by the Data Science Institute Chair trains talents from West Africa in finance and data – a concrete contribution to developing strategic skills. The Chairs also supported initiatives in favor of inclusion, knowledge dissemination and female representation in research. This is not anecdotal – this is the School we want to be. Achieving the right balance when creating dialog between fundamental research, education and industry is not easy. It requires high-level partner- ships, based on trust and respect for academic independence.
